Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania
To coincide with the matching Ant-man movies, I’ve created a helmet using Cassie Lang’s design. I used Kang’s colour scheme behind. I liked the texture (as subtle as it is) at the top of Cassie’s helmet.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3
Not really much of a spoiler, but obviously this one has a fair bit more focus on Rocket (if you’ve seen the trailer). I enjoyed making this one actually, and making the simplified representation of Rocket’s fuzzy fur.
Marvel's Secret Invasion
This was a tough one to try and create well (for me anyway). This is to show a mixture of Nick Fury as the protagonist and the idea of shapeshifting from Skrulls. I used the Secret Invasion logo colours as the border.
Marvel's Secret Invasion v2
This was the other alternative, since it focused more on espionage, I actually found the model of Nick Fury’s gun - and created an illustration on that with a Skrull skin inspired background.
The Marvels
This version had the 3 different Marvels logos (Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel and Photon/Spectrum). Given the use of space that combines them together, I had used that as the divider between the 3 logos.
The Marvels v2
Same as the first one, but cleaner edging (removed the space divider).
The Marvels v3
This focuses entirely on Monica Rambeau (given she didn’t have her own series). It’s focused around her chest logo, with a slight alteration from the Photon/Spectrum counterpart from the comics.
Echo
This was a little difficult to design for, mostly because apart from the bionic leg, she didn't have any simple iconic imagery that I could think of to make it obvious that it's Echo. I defaulted to using her fighting outfit primarily because there was an opportunity to make it unique from all the other icons, while adding cultural significance to her Choctaw inspired costume. The hard part was getting a high quality reference.
Deadpool & Wolverine
In anticipation for the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie, I wanted to try recreate a similar icon to their marketing friendship bracelet. I wanted to still keep it as a circle shape rather than a heart, but I think this is a happy medium - allowing this to be one of the few icons that break the icon boundary slightly (the icon itself is a little smaller than normal size to compensate the ratio.
Deadpool & Wolverine v2
Alternate version with Deadpool having the 3 claw marks of Wolverine across his face (fitting).
